This tea towel features a beautiful full colour pictorial tourist map drawn by Samuel Herbert Maw for the Provincial Tourist Bureau of Quebec in 1929. Maw was a British-Canadian architect and cartographer active in the first half of the 20th century.
The map is centered on the St. Lawrence River, covering from Quebec City to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, including the beloved Charlevoix region. It also features a beautiful compass rose oriented with north to top right and the Quebec coat of arms.
